Confused about the file repository? There is documentation here:

SVN and Tortoise Overview

In a nutshell...

Subversion is software that stores and tracks updates/modifications to files, typically software code, in a FILE REPOSITORY. The IBIS CoP file repository may be access from the CoP homepage (www.ibisph.org) by clicking on "Browse Source" at the top, right of the page.

TortoiseSVN is a software program that allows you to access the file repository from your WINDOWS EXPLORER window (the "file manager" Explorer, not Internet Explorer). If you're a serious IBIS software adopter, you'll want to use Tortoise because it allows you to download entire directories from the file repository, and allows you to update your version to the latest repository version.
