I received this question from a user:
"...would like to develop more efficient ways to use information available at NM-IBIS. I’ve discussed ... the benefits of REST services or ArcGIS Server Web Services. However, I think geoRSS and RSS may be a better, cheaper and easier option that would enable folks to link to what is available in NM-IBIS instead of downloading geojson, tables and printing reports. Can you ask your developers about the possibility of providing geoRSS and RSS? Or is it available now and I'm not aware of how to access and use it? I don’t know much about it yet but we at SHARENM are trying to figure out best ways to make information like maps available and sharable. From what I’ve seen and read, AGOL can display geoRSS. I haven’t done it yet, but I will be exploring this option."
