Component: View-App Version: 2.2
Severity: Minor Effort Keywords:

When entering ICD-10 diagnosis code, eg, I20-I25, the characts in code cause the pop-up window. It will work after click "OK". But the box is confusing for user who entering the code. It works correctly on IE, but not Firefox and Google Chrome. See attached.

The validation rules were discussed in emails prior to implementing. The rules must apply to ALL fields at this point (e.g. can't do field specific user defined allowed values). The current allowed values are:

a-z0-9[.0-9], 0-9[.0-9], .0-9, <, >, +, =, ","

The values entered should match the a-z0-9 pattern. We need to discuss with all interested community members to verify that it is acceptable to all and is usable for all fields. Another option is to turn this validation rule off for now.

The fact that the code does not popup a window in IE is actually an error with IE and the script. Also, the script should not allow a user to submit the query with this condition - also an error that I can not replicate - e.g. when I enter something invalid the page will not submit.

Reference URL: Step 2.

1/15/13 - Garth commented out the validation code invocation until some future when this can be better defined and tested. The element for loop was also fixed as the wrong "property" loop was implemented instead of a standard index type loop.
