r23184 r25007 6 6 <TEXT>The vaccinations reported in IBIS are limited to people received COVID-19 vaccines where individuals have received at least one dose of any of the three available vaccines. These counts are provisional and subject to change as investigations are completed.</TEXT> 7 7 <TEXT>In this query, vaccinations are reported by the day UDOH was notified of their first dose date. A person's vaccine status is considered complete if there is a second dose date for the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines. For those receiving the Janssen vaccine the first dose date is also the completed date.</TEXT> 8 <TEXT>Vaccine data are updated weekly on Thursdays using reported vaccine data</TEXT> 8 9 <TEXT>Race/ethnicity data: race categories are not mutually exclusive and will not sum to the total people received COVID-19 vaccines, as people received COVID-19 vaccines can identify as more than one race. "Other race" includes people received COVID-19 vaccines that identified as a race not listed. "Unknown race" captures people received COVID-19 vaccines for whom race data was not provided, either through the data not being collected or the people received COVID-19 vaccine not reporting that data.</TEXT> 9 10 </DATA_NOTE> -

r25005 r25007 5 5 <TEXT>Utah's LHDs may also report their own case data. Local reports should be considered the most up to date and accurate information for their local area due to small differences in case classifications at any given time</TEXT> 6 6 <TEXT>Case data is displayed by the date the first positive laboratory result is reported to public health. There will be small differences in cases by date as public health receives additional information</TEXT> 7 <TEXT>Case and lab data are updated weekly using reported case data.</TEXT>7 <TEXT>Case and lab data are updated weekly on Thursdays using reported case data</TEXT> 8 8 <TEXT>Not all cases are able to be interviewed, and some data are not routinely collected for all cases such as hospitalizations, geographic area, and comorbidities. Because of this an "Unknown" represents either a case that was not able to be interviewed or a case that was interviewed but that particular data was not collected (due to high case counts or an individual deciding not to report that data).</TEXT> 9 9 <TEXT>The deaths reported in IBIS are limited to confirmed cases with no alternative cause of death noted on the death certificate or reported by the Office of the Medical Examiner. The counts reported in IBIS will be lower than the counts reported on the public dashboard, as the public dashboard includes probable cases in the death count as well. These counts are provisional and subject to change as investigations are completed. adopters/ut/trunk/src/main/webapps/ibisph-content/xml/query/module/covid/overview/GettingStarted_Positivity.xml
r25005 r25007 4 4 <TEXT>CDC proposes three methods for calculating percent positivity. The UDOH uses the third method of number of people tested positive over the number of people tested. The analysis is restricted to PCR and Antigen tests. For a person that has a positive test, their first positive test is used. If there is no positive result for that individual, then their first negative result is used. To calculate the reported 7-day rolling average percent positivity rate, the UDOH tallies the number of people who tested positive in 7 days, divided by the total number of people tested in the same 7 day.</TEXT> 5 5 <TEXT>The total number of people who tested positive will not total the total number of cases reported in the state. This discrepancy is due to ongoing investigations and confirmatory testing.</TEXT> 6 <TEXT>Case and lab data are updated weekly using reported case data</TEXT>6 <TEXT>Case and lab data are updated weekly on Thursdays using reported case data</TEXT> 7 7 <TEXT>Not all labs are reported with complete demographic and geographic data, tests with incomplete variables will be reported with "unknown". These data may be subsequently reported and updated retroactively.</TEXT> 8 8 <TEXT>All data are preliminary and subject to change.</TEXT> -
